JELD-WEN is seeking a Manager, Global HR Data who will be responsible for the management, governance, enrichment, and security of our global HR-related data.

 

Reporting to the VP, Global Talent Management, you will be responsible for leading a matrix global team that will manage HR data-related initiatives; including data entry, data integrity, reporting, root cause analysis, error handling, documenting procedures, and system testing. In this role, you will manage the team who is responsible for the cleanliness and accuracy of the employee related data within our HCM platform. You will be responisble for working across multiple functional teams to establish a data governance structure that will include data definitions, mapped process flows, efficient data capture, storage and security, and continuous improvement to data usability and quality.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Serve as the Global Process Owner for HR Data and transactions, setting the standards for global HR processes across the organization to drive operational efficiencies.

•Collaborate with HR teams to ensure HR data is valued, trusted and delivered efficiently to support the execution of HR initiatives.

Design and implement a service delivery model that includes HCM system optimization, business process automation, ongoing system process improvements, data governance administration, and user system training and adoption.

•Provide day to day management and coaching for US based direct reports including offering mentorship, guidance, and career development. Provide process leadership and matrixed managerial leadership to HR data teammates in other regions 

•Lead the creation, documentation and management of end-to-end employee lifecycle HR processes, including: new hire processing; on-boarding and integration; terminations; and maintenance of employee records

Execute activities to drive compliance with data governance protocols in the region and assist with designing and implementing governance protocols and processes.

Monitor the data integrity in HR platform and ensure appropriate and relevant audit controls are in place.

•Partner with HRIS in the development and implementation of both new and/or changes to HR systems including supporting system testing.

•Foster relationships and partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, etc.) to build a better employment experience.

•Proactively identify inefficiencies and inconsistencies and collaborate towards an improved and more productive process that enhances the employee and/or manager’s experience with the process.

• Ensure employee records and changes to records are processed on time and without error to streamline payroll processing, benefits and other downstream poeple data elements

Support quarterly updates to Employee Central and configuration change testing, implementation, and user adoption activities as required.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

•Four-year university degree required

•Minimum 8 years of Global HR Operations or HR Data Management experience required

•Experience in managing team of non-exempt staff

Experience leading/working in matrix teams

•Demonstrated background in HR operations in manufacturing or related industry 

•Outstanding project management and communication skills (both written and verbal)

•Strong mindset for continuous improvement and exceeding internal customer expectations

•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities 

•High sense of urgency; customer focused 

•High attention to detail

Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules: Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, and Reporting tools
