Role Summary & Purpose

Jeld-Wen is advancing our cultural transformation, and in this effort, we want to ensure we are celebrating diverse perspectives and creating the most inclusive work environments for all our team members. We are hiring a D&I Program manager to help us build, launch, and lead cultural initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have experience building and leading employee resource groups, designing and developing innovative D&I training solutions and building trust and collaboration with internal partners.

  • External – D&I related external organizations

 

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver the D&I strategy and related programs in close partnership with key stakeholders across the organization to create a greater sense of uniqueness and belonging for our employees
  • Help to launch, facilitate, and support internal employee affinity/resource groups to build momentum around D&I initiatives and programs
  • Act as a coach and advisor to human resource teammates to ensure they have the right information and tools to educate the business leaders, and drive an inclusive culture across the organizations they support
  • Partner with leadership development and learning teams to ensure D&I content is included in development, learning and engagement programs
  • Lead the selection, design and/or development of D&I training
  • Stay at the forefront of the diversity and inclusion external landscape, remaining up to date on emerging topics. Incorporate that knowledge into JW’s D&I strategy
  • Identify, select, manage, and track D&I external partnerships
  • In partnership with Global Talent Acquisition, develop and champion a robust strategy to ensure diverse candidate slates and representation throughout the recruitment and hiring processes. Coach hiring managers on inclusivity in their hiring practices
  • Actively engage with employees and create effective feedback loops around the D&I programs.
  • Creates measurable D&I program goals and related measurements. Gather, analyze and present data and metrics to support business decisions and plans

 

 

Person Specification

 

 

 

Experience / Knowledge

  • 5-7 years of professional experience within human resources or talent management function, including 3-5 years focused on the diversity and inclusion space
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing diversity and inclusion, workplace culture strategies and related change management needs
  • Effective communication and ability to influence across levels in an organization
  • Ability to partner easily various stakeholders
  • Experience in managing programs through to completion
  • Ability to prioritize and use resources effectively

 

Education / Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required
