JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Director, Transformation Management Office to join our growing team.

 

Business Transformation Leader – Americas


This position is responsible for business transformation process and coordination of the projects that will result in significant improvement in profitability and operational excellence within Jeld-Wen Americas. Working with senior, segment, functional and site Americas leaders the incumbent will be accountable for the effective development, implementation, coordination and communication of business transformation plans. The Business Transformation Leader will ensure cross functional alignment to and support for the funding, prioritization, funding and needs for organizational capacity to execute the overall plan in the context of the overall business and competing priorities. In concert with senior business leaders manage accountability and execution to the agreed-upon plan.
The business transformation leader will establish, and coordinate the execution, of practical and effective program tracking tools and techniques to integrate business transformation into operations to ensure business continuity while managing the business transformation.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Own business transformation process and facilitate with LOB leader and senior staff to develop project pipeline, coordinate feasibility vetting, ensure adequate capacity and funding to execute on committed projects.
  • Coordinate the management of business transformation projects including developing and managing tools and processes to manage scheduling, cost management, work breakdowns and project estimates.
  • Employ the use of program management tools and implement processes and best practices in the implementation of business transformation activities.
  • Manage process for individual project scorecards as well as for overall business transformation status communications to keep leaders informed.
  • Coordinate with finance and business leaders to ensure that business transformation deliverables, i.e. New production introduction, profitability, cost, productivity, site optimization, increases in revenue, etc. are achieved
  • Ensure adequate resources to achieve objectives are allocated to business transformation initiatives
  • Ensure that business transformation activities are aligned with and integrated to the business strategy and operation
  • Integrate business transformation into the operating system for Jeld-Wen Americas and collaborate seamlessly across all functions and business teams; leverage management operating system to quickly identify and escalate barriers or challenges
     

Basic Qualifications:

  • bachelor’s degree
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt or Lean Six Sigma certification  
  • 3 years project management experience.

 

Additional Candidate Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or finance
  • Six Sigma black belt or Lean Expert certification
  • Have a holistic approach to change and not be set to one method of working
  • Ability to influence all levels of the business and support functions to drive adherence to the integrated management system
  • A desire to continually improve processes and drive change. A confident, resilient personality
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels across all internal and external stakeholders involving solid relationship building skills
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Be well presented, articulate and professional in your approach
  • Highest level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40%
