Principle Duties and Responsibilities


  • Establish annual financial operating plans, covering both operating expenses and capital spend.
  • Conduct IT Monthly Business (financial) Review (MBR) process across key entities/regions including the management of the annual IT budget process.
  • Support staffing planning activities across the IT organization and ensure resource plans align with financial objectives and vice versa.
  • Support administration of all major IT sourcing and contracting activities across the IT enterprise.
  • Work with other IT leaders to establish an IT Monthly Operating Review (MOR) process to include key IT service level metrics, project portfolio tracking, IT security and compliance tracking (i.e. ITGCs, audit activities, etc.), financial performance, resource planning, etc.
  • Drive standardization, automation, process improvement and productivity tracking to improve performance and meet financial targets.
  • Works with IT leaders to help adhere to financial objectives.  This includes analysis of financial plans, contracts, staffing schedules, and all inputs to the financial process for both expense and capital spend.



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


  • IT Function Knowledge - Knowledge of the core IT function, its roles and processes Including run and maintain, security, compliance, and projects.   
  • IT Financial Planning - Knowledge and deep understanding the inputs to IT financial planning, including staff schedules for both employees and contractors as well as contracts for statements of work, licensing, and hosting.
  • Organizational Leadership – Provide helpful feedback, share information, and find opportunities to help others develop abilities. Identify opportunities for positive organizational change and establish structures or processes to manage the changes.  Take the lead in implementing and reinforcing change and support others in those efforts.   Express, model, and reinforce effective teamwork between and within departments.

Education and Experience


  • 5+ years of IT experience in a global business environment with a demonstrated history of success and progression is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information, Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline required.
  • Project management skills: financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management; PMP Certification a plus.
