JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Director, Development & Analytics Delivery to join our growing team.
The Opportunity
As the Director, Development & Analytics Delivery you will be accountable for delivery of technical components, SDLC processes, departmental budget, and resource management aligned to key business objectives and projects that extend or implement new solutions. This position will lead technical delivery teams responsible for application development, ERP, integration to existing and new solutions, and enterprise data & analytics that include project and support activities. Key areas of focus for this position will be on time delivery, improving technical development capabilities, and identifying opportunities for reuse and productivity across the IT landscape.
The Director, Data & Development Delivery will have a unique opportunity to provide leadership to global Business and IT colleagues around the globe. Close collaboration, organization, and communication with key stakeholders will be a key to success. This leader must be results driven and have prior experience in broad domains including business functions, applications, system integration, data and reporting, development, and infrastructure. This position will be located in Charlotte, North Carolina and reports to the Sr. Director, Architecture, Development & Data with approximately 25% percent travel.
What You Will Do
- Lead delivery of technical components such as reports, integrations, conversions, enhancements, workflows and analytics to plan delivery dates within budget guidelines
- Lead, recruit, and mature the technical delivery teams by defining a clear vison, operating model, organizational structure, and objectives that support team members development and growth
- Ensure the linkage of business requirements with technology capability to achieve targeted business outcomes
- Actively participate and lead the deployment of top priority technology deployments
- Quantify and communicate the value of technical delivery and aligning SDLC processes across teams and technologies
Who You Are
- 10+ years working with diverse application portfolios including data, integration, and BI reporting
- 8+ years of experience with ERP and other manufacturing industry IT applications
- Experience in manufacturing sector
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- ITIL, PMP, and Agile certifications are a plus
How You Stand Out
- Proven track record of delivering cost effective, high quality, custom developed software components as part of project and ongoing IT operations
- Minimum of 10+ years working with diverse application portfolios covering multiple areas of functionality including four or more of the following:
- Enterprise Resource Planning: Quote to Cash, Plan to Manufacture, Procure to Pay, Record to Report
- Sales and Marking: Lead to Quote, Customer Experience.
- Design to Manufacture: Engineering, Product Life Cycle Management, Product Information Management
- Human Resource Systems: Hire to Retire, Payroll, Learning.
- Data and Reporting: Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing/Hubs/Data Lakes, Self Service Analytics
- Data Integrations: Design and implementation of robust system data transfer technology and patterns
- Application Development: Software development life cycle management in multiple technologies
- Minimum of 8+ years leading and building technical development, integration, and/or data delivery teams
- Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT
- Knowledge and experience creating value through process transformation and technology enablement
- Exposure and understanding of existing, new, and emerging technologies.
- Strong leadership skills that include leading roles on a global team in a matrixed organization
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Excels at process re-engineering and implementing standard processes
- Familiar with using CI / CD principles as well such as Azure DevOps for application lifecycle management
- Skilled at collaborating with all levels of Business and IT personnel
- Experienced with agile and waterfall methodologies
- Positive attitude and contributor to great culture
- Quick learner, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong facilitation and negotiation capabilities
