Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Business Operations & Strategy Associate to support the EVP, North America. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, proactive, and able to operate with discretion and maturity.

This role provides approximately 20% executive administrative support, while the remaining responsibilities focus on strategic initiatives, operational follow‑through, business analysis, and cross‑functional project execution. The position requires regular travel with the EVP to manufacturing sites, customer locations, and leadership meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Support (50%)

  • Partner cross functionally to establish, evolve and maintain operating system metrics.
  • Track progress against strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across operations, sales, supply chain, HR, finance, IT and other functions.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive better decision‑making.
  • Support operational rhythms such as staff meetings, town halls and tiered level meetings.
  • Synthesize weekly operational and market intelligence—including market landscape updates, sales reports, and cross‑functional summaries—and elevate key insights, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.

Project & Program Management (30%)

  • Lead and coordinate special projects on behalf of the EVP, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and cross‑functional communication are well-managed.
  • Capture key actions from EVP’s notes, pictures, etc. during site visits and business meetings, then own the follow‑up, action planning and execution until completion.
  • Serve as a first-line responder for things such as customer escalations sent to the EVP – quickly assessing, coordinating cross-functional action and driving timely resolution with clear communication to stakeholders.

Executive Administrative Support (20%)

  • Assist with the EVP’s calendar, travel logistics, and meeting preparation.
  • Create polished PowerPoint presentations, briefing documents, and executive summaries.
  • Draft emails, communications, and reports on behalf of the EVP as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment in all interactions.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of prior relevant experience in business operations, project management, consulting, sales operations, or similar work or advanced degree. Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling) and PowerPoint (storytelling, executive-quality decks).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly (up to 40-50%).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion, emotional intelligence, and professional presence required.
  • Demonstrated embodiment of a positive mindset along with sense of urgency and ownership.

  • Exposure to business development activities (market research, customer engagement, partnership discussions).
  • Prior experience supporting senior executives or acting in a chief‑of‑staff–style role.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and interpreting data to make it easily accessible.

Success Profile

A successful candidate will be:

  • Proactive and resourceful, anticipating needs and removing barriers for the EVP.
  • Detail‑oriented, yet able to think strategically and see the big picture.
