THE ROLE

JELD-WEN’s Benefits Center of Expertise (COE) is building world class global wellbeing programs to engage our associates in their physical, financial, emotional and social health.  The newly created Manager – Global Wellbeing position will drive innovative strategies, provide subject matter expertise and implement operational best practices for JELD-WEN’s global wellbeing programs. As part of the Corporate Benefits COE, this role collaborates across service lines as well as other Human Resources operational and functional areas.
 
The Manager – Global Wellbeing champions global wellbeing across JELD-WEN and delivers exceptional consumer experiences, balancing high touch approaches with data driven technology solutions in program and system design.   The role ensures compliance with wellbeing-related regulatory requirements, maintains up-to-date plan and policy documents, manages vendor relationships and provides quick and reliable internal support across JELD-WEN.  

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

•    Partner with the Director, Global Benefits to develop wellbeing strategy, and to procure and implement vendor partners within JELD-WEN’s Global Benefits Management (GBM) framework.
•    Champion wellbeing and a “Culture of Caring” across the organization and facilitate global wellbeing network.
•    Act as wellbeing program expert within the JELD-WEN Benefits COE – a central point of contact for plan design, regulatory compliance and program operations.
•    Design and implement to provide exceptional associate experience, support business objectives and integrate within JELD-WEN total rewards employee value proposition.  
•    Collaborate with team members within the Benefits COE, Human Resources, legal, payroll and risk teams in implementing and managing wellbeing policies, programs and processes.
•    Ensure JELD-WEN wellbeing programs are compliant with applicable regulations and requirements.
•    Use data analytics and customer feedback in strategic planning,  continuous improvement and outcomes measurement  for wellbeing benefit design, administration and cost efficiency.
•    Recommend innovative approaches to fully engage and support Associates in all life and career stages.
•    Create wellbeing communication and training for Associates, Human Resources and business partners.
•    Coordinate vendor procurement, management and review processes to ensure compliance and best in class customer service.  

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
•    Deep understanding of US wellbeing programs and related Federal and state regulations.
•    Familiarity with Canada, Mexico, European and Australasian statutory and company-provided wellbeing benefits.  
•    Strategic orientation of corporate wellbeing best practices to ensure programs are competitive and effective.
•    Ability to gain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders and business partners.
•    Ability to successfully implement and manage insourced, outsourced and co-sourced data systems and projects.
•    Knowledge and experience related in corporate benefits function and related plans and programs.
•    History using metrics and analytics to solve problems, develop solutions and measure progress.
•    Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation channels
•    Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Ability to liaise and collaborate effectively with vendors, internal business partners and Associates.

 

Education and Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree 
•    7+ years in HR Benefits with focus and progressive responsibility in a corporate wellbeing function.
•    Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office Suite and apps such as SharePoint and Teams. 
•    Experience engaging in-person and remote stakeholders through multi-channel, multi-modal means..
•    Proficiency working with Human Capital Management Systems, particularly SuccessFactors / ADP.
•    Experience with third-party benefits management data systems.
