Summary: Support all activities related to Interior Doors sales and partnership with The Home Depot including strategy development, presentation creation, internal and external communications, analysis, forecasting, tactical preparation for meetings and events, project execution and daily customer priorities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Work closely with the account team to achieve sales, profitability, and market share growth targets
  • Assist in the development and execute new programs, product launches, and training for field sales representatives and THD employees
  • Help prepare for business reviews and presentations internally and externally
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Jeld-Wen cross functional team including operations, marketing, product line management, pricing, and engineering
  • Be a product and installation expert on Interior doors
  • Work in collaboration with THD merchant planners, and space planners to execute on program and product updates, and new product launches
  • Recommend opportunities for increased business penetration, based on knowledge of customers and category
  • Lead Account team communication with The Home Depot IPR team to maintain appropriate inventory levels, assure maintenance accuracy on new and existing SKU’s and execution of promotional plans
  • Adapts and communicates Retail Service requirements based on changing market conditions to meet account service and sales goals
  • Work closely with a sales and supply chain to maximize output
  • Use internal and external sales tools to build reports, analyze performance and productivity metrics to understand the business, identify opportunities and address challenges
  • Communicate effectively and on time

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of 5 years related sales experience and/or training preferably in the window and door industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Specific knowledge and relationships of selling to The Home Depot, preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, Electronic Pricing Catalog and Expense Reporting Program
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • The employee may be required to travel in support of sales and service management
  • 5+ years of Home Center, Millwork and door industry experience is preferred
  • Travel required: 20% or greater
