JELD-WEN is currently seeking a 2025 Summer Internship - ITSM Analytics, CLT, NC to join our growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The JELD-WEN Summer Internship Program empowers talented undergraduate students to gain real-world working experience and professional development in one of four potential business areas. This position is focused on the Information Technology business area. The internship program includes meaningful projects and challenging work assignments geared at developing professional competencies and skills in a chosen discipline. Additionally, throughout the summer internship, participants will have the opportunity for professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities to help enhance future leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO        

In the past, our interns have had the opportunity to:

• Review ticket trends to identify top incident types.
• Identify automation and self-healing opportunities based on repetitive issue.
• Categorize IT operational issues into Respond, Prepare and Respond, and Predict and Prevent per ServiceNow’s best practice.
• Set guidelines: Recommend tools, enforce their use, and store automation in a code repository.
• Leverage monitoring and alerting to identify trends over time.
• Support development of KPI driven progress reports.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Currently enrolled rising junior or senior students majoring in: Information Technology, Computer Science or related major
• Demonstrated work ethic and detail-orientation and organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-driven, eager to tackle new projects from scratch, with the ability to work independently on complex tasks
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and work to a high caliber while demonstrating attention to detail
• Strong collaborator

Recommended:

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Relevant internship or previous work experience
• Leadership experience and relationship-building skills
