THE ROLE

 

The Channel Program Marketing Associate is a key player for developing, executing, measuring, and improving the marketing programs within the traditional channel while ensuring maximum visibility and engagement across sales and our channel partners.  The scope of this role includes developing, executing and maintaining all marketing programs, promotions and project-based initiatives that ultimately drives mutual profitability, revenue, and brand loyalty.

The Channel Program Marketing Associate will track and provide analytics for promotional activities and functions, develop data driven metrics to measure ROI, Key Performance Indicators and make recommendations on the findings.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • In collaboration with enterprise marketing team, works with Channel Development Manager to launch and refine valuable channel programs that motivate and excite channel partners that build brand loyalty, create brand advocates, and drives revenue  
  • Analyze, measure, and assist with implementation of improvement for channel programs and promotions
  • Tracks, maintains, and reports accurate analysis of program results with stakeholders
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates program needs and makes recommendations that attract customers that succeed over the competition to win business  
  • Effectively communicates and promotes initiatives to maximize sales potential to channel partners and internal stakeholders
  • Manages and owns program budgeting, forecasting, assets, and inventory including but not limited to brand store items related to programs, co-op tracking, any/all activities to close loop and reconcile marketing funds internally and externally
  • Works with functional teams on planning, communication and execution of successful program launches with both existing and newly activated partners.
  • Communicates and refines program documents for internal stakeholders and channel partners to clearly identify benefits, terms and conditions, rules of engagement, marketing collateral, etc. that supports programs launch and sustainability.
  • Collect VOC from members and manage feedback for continuous improvement, thus maintaining “Best in Class” programs.
  • Investigate emerging trends and competitive landscape and share insights to keep us ahead of the competition
  • Make recommendations to marketing team to help evolve identify and understand needs of key influencers/personas (consumers, contractors, builders, and architects) and develop tools and programs that make it easier to do business and drive results. 
  • Maintain and improve external and internal relationships, manage resources, and assigned projects
  • Develop program analytics tied to goals and measurement plans to gauge success of program initiatives and ensure appropriate investment is profitable.
  • Travel required 10%

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

 

  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Demonstrate successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams 
  • Ability to think strategically with supporting analytical skills  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to adapt to change with creative innovative solutions while adhering to tight deadlines on budget.
  • Proven ability to negotiates with vendors and services for best arrangements within budget
  • Must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field.  
  • 1 year channel marketing, program, events, and sales negotiation work experience. 
  • Competency in project and stakeholder management.
  • Building products and manufacturing industry a plus.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, preferred.
