Are you an experienced Business Development Manager looking for a new challenge?  We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic talented Business Development Manager to join our growing and successful team.

In this key and important role, you will Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, and negotiating contracts.  Our Business Development Manager will provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions.

Your role:

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to maximize sales and customer retention.
  • Prospecting - Using Barbour ABI, explores leads/opportunities to maximise sales across all door products. Work with Architects, main contractors, sub-contractors, local frameworks to use our service propositions and add value.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to drive sales.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to network, generate leads, and stay updated on industry developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experience and order fulfilment.
  • Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions.



What you'll need to succeed:

 

  • Experience within construction industry & or commercial sector.
  • Effective communication, influencing and networking skills.
  • Ambitious, driven, and personable
  • Strong time management including planning and organising.
  • Initiative-taking and personal ownership for business development & exploring opportunities
  • Driven and enthusiastic sales professional
  • Target driven
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Full UK driving license
