Job Summary

JELD-WEN Bend Millwork has current opportunities for experienced Maintenance personnel. We are looking for hard working, flexible, team-oriented associates. 

 

Experienced Millwrights starting at $24.22

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Must have own basic hand tools
  • Familiar with drive chains, gear units, V-belts and sheaves.
  • Trouble shooting skills/Identify to core issues, not just the symptoms
  • Ability to perform basic tasks on lathe and milling machines
  • Experience with dry sprinkler systems a plus
  • Basic welding/fabricating with TIG, MIG, Arc or brazing
  • PJ or LME license combined with any of these skills a huge plus  

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good attendance.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to be part of a team
  • Must be available for overtime including weekends as needed
  • In order to ensure a safe working environment, a pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
