Supply Chain Planner – Åstorp, Sweden

If so, we would love to hear from you. Swedoor / JELD-WEN is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our Scandinavian Supply Chain team in Åstorp, Sweden. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product availability, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting operational efficiency across the business.

 

Your responsibilities
•    Develop and maintain supply plans to ensure product availability across assigned product categories
•    Manage replenishment and purchasing activities with suppliers and manufacturing sites
•    Monitor inventory performance and drive improvements in stock turnover and service levels
•    Optimize planning parameters such as safety stock, lead times, reorder points, and order quantities
•    Collaborate closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Logistics Providers, Terminal Operations, and the wider Supply Chain team
•    Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to supply, capacity, transportation, quality, and demand fluctuations
•    Support S&OP and demand planning processes through analysis and recommendations
•    Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on service, inventory, productivity, and cost optimization
•    Analyze KPI performance and support data-driven decision-making using ERP systems, Power BI, and Excel
•    Contribute to digitalization and process improvement initiatives across the Supply Chain organization

 

 

We are looking for someone who has
•    3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Operations, or a related field
•    Experience with inventory management, replenishment planning, and supplier collaboration
•    Good understanding of supply planning, demand planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes
•    Experience working with ERP systems and planning tools
•    Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
•    Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
•    Experience from manufacturing, industrial products, building materials, or FMCG environments is an advantage
•    A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Fluent English
  • Proficiency in at least one Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish)

Starting Salary Range: (372,375.00 to 496,500.00), reflecting the typical range for this role based on experience and skills. In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive (EU) 2023/970, this range is set using objective, gender‑neutral criteria. Final salary depends on experience. We do not use pay history and are committed to equal pay, with transparent and objective pay decisions.
