Quality Assurance Engineer

YOUR ROLE

In your role as a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with our production organization and leadership team at our site in Åstorp, Sweden. You will be part of the QEHS department, consisting of 7 dedicated and highly competent colleagues with various responsibilities throughout the production process. Reporting directly to the QEHS Manager of the site, the scope of the role is to support the organization in all quality matters and lead and facilitate quality assurance in our production processes. You will act as a facilitator and drive projects in quality improvement within our manufacturing site. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining quality systems according to ISO standards and internal demands. To succeed in this role, you possess the ability to cooperate and communicate with stakeholders on all levels within an organization. You must have solid experience with quality assurance and a comprehensive understanding of a manufacturing site's production processes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow up on quality performance and proactively support the organization in quality matters.
• Lead the task of quality assurance in production and initiate/drive improvement activities
• Follow up on customer claims and drive actions for improvement.
• Follow up on internal quality KPIs and drive actions for improvement.
• Facilitate, drive and lead quality improvement processes and projects
• Maintain and improve the internal quality management system
• Conduct internal quality audits and root-cause analyses

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Experience with quality assurance within the manufacturing industry
• A degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Sound knowledge of quality management systems, e.g. ISO9001 and quality tools
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach towards assigned tasks
• Collaborative with the ability to build long-term relations with both colleagues, suppliers and customers
• A systematic approach with a strong focus on reaching a set of goals
• Experience with risk management and root-cause analysis
• A positive mindset and takes pride in making change happen
• Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English is a prerequisite for this role.
