Production Planning Analyst

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Production Planning Analyst to join our growing team.

Production planner 

Role Summary and Purpose

The Production Planner role is responsible for ensuring that we fulfil our commitments to our customers in the most resource-efficient way through planning and optimization against customer orders/forecasts.

In the role of Production Planner, one work closely with the supply chain team, the production team, purchasing and internal customers to be able to offer both flexibility and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities in your role

• Make production planning in consultation with the production manager according to prevailing capacity levels.
• Translate customer orders into a production plan and plan the production.
• Actively collaborate with production organization to ensure timely deliveries.
• Analyze and actively work to improve our delivery performance, both internal and external.
• Work proactively to prevent delays and to effectively communicate delivery delays that have occurred.
• Collaboration within the team with a desire to constantly improve working methods and achieve results as well as develop as an individual.
• Develop the information and material flow.
• Actively participate in production management meetings and follow-ups
• Maintain our ERP system with necessary data.
• Have ongoing contact with your internal suppliers and stakeholders.

Experiences

• Experience in purchasing work and work in a warehouse/distribution center

• Good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with ERP systems

• Good knowledge of Lean Production

Education / Qualifications

• High school diploma

• Advantageous with knowledge and experience in logistics / supply.

Language Skills

• Good understanding of Scandinavian languages.

• Good knowledge for English languages in both writing and oral
