Finance Assistant

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join our growing team.

Role Summary and Purpose

• Managing, processing and troubleshooting various transactions and accounts.
• Ensuring timely and accurate transaction accounting, supporting preparation of financial and statistical reports, performing other finance related tasks.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• To ensure adherence with all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times.
• Help with financial data entry and general bookkeeping
• Manage data, records, and reports by checking for errors and verifying accuracy of information
• Prepare receipts, vouchers, invoices, etc. for entry into data sheets
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
• Update and maintain financial records

Person Specification

• University degree in accounting, economics or finance (can be a student obtaining the degree shortly)
• Willingness to learn and become finance specialist
• Focus on details, accurate, result oriented
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, time management skills
• Fluent in Latvian, intermediate in English
• Good PC skills (MS Office)
