JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Quality Specialist to join our growing team.

As a Quality Specialist you ensure the required quality standards in production.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- To live by the JELD-WEN Values and lead by the JELD-WEN Leadership Model, to build businesses ethically and safely, to invest in people, to inspire customers through innovations, to deliver on our promises and to improve every day.
- To ensure adherence with all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times.
- Control quality of materials, products and production process
- Control raw materials, fill in material check lists. Report to line manager on discrepancies in product quality
- Control if production employees fill in check lists and work according to procedures
- On regular basis gather information on damaged raw materials and products during production process
- Inform production employees on product quality requirements, changes in products
- Organize laboratory work – tests
- Check if overall hygiene, safety and fire safety requirements are followed
- Check if equipment maintenance and operations is done according to regulations
- Advice employees on quality matters
Person Specification
- College or university degree
- Preferable experience in production and quality
- MS Office at user level – primary Word, Excel, PowerPoint Strong communication skills
- Analytical, structured, team oriented, flexible, focusing on detail
- Latvian and English language skills
