JELD-WEN is currently seeking an Account Operations Manager to join our growing team.

 

 

The Opportunity

American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows and Millwork, is currently seeking an experienced Account Operations Manager to assist our Retail Sales Team in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.  This person will work with an experienced retail sales team representing and selling our extensive line of products.

Reporting directly to the Vice-President – Sales, Lowe’s, this position will be responsible for providing sales support (administrative and project-based) and working cross-functionally to drive ABS company and retailer led initiatives.

Preference will be given to candidates that possess the following qualities:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

 

What You Will Do

  • Act as the primary liaison between the retail account team, supply chain, operations and the customer to drive accurate and timely reporting for fill rate and on-time performance, issue resolution and order management.
  • Managing Customer-supplied Data, Business Intelligence Data and Excel reporting to support activities (including but not limited to) – Managing POS Data, Daily Sales Reporting, Capacity Planning Reports and SG&A tracking.
  • Support sales fundamentals – (including but not limited to) development of sales presentation materials, forecasting, attending shows and meetings, and tracking sales performance through Business Intelligence and Excel reporting.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements, to increase efficiency within the team. Also, enhance our customer relationships by supporting retailer led initiatives.
  • Provide a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based approach to business support.
  • Demonstrate a source of business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities (leverage insights, identify risks / opportunities, and recommend action-based solutions) supported by analytics and cross-sector collaboration.
  • Provide sales administrative support: includes ordering / tracking samples, supporting customer pricing requests, and preparing product cross-reference sheets.

 

 

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • A proven track record of high performance
  • Strong knowledge of PC applications (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
  • Positive outgoing attitude
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel and some weekends required

Expected pay for this role is between $95,000.00 to $158,300.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
